Article 2 - Access to the website
Access to the website and its use is strictly personal. You will not use this website, or the data and information provided on it, for commercial, political or promotional purposes, nor for any form of unsolicited electronic offer.
Article 3 - The content of the website
All trademarks, photos, texts, comments, illustrations, (animated) images, videos, sounds, and all technical applications used to make the website function, and more generally all elements used on this website, are protected by law through intellectual property rights. Any reproduction, republication, copying or other use of (part of) these elements is prohibited without the prior written consent of QX-Innovations.
Article 4 - Management of the website
For the proper management of the website, the administrator may at any time: suspend, interrupt or restrict access to (part of) the website; temporarily take the website out of service for maintenance or updates; restrict access to the website, in whole or in part, to a specific category of visitors.

The administrator is not responsible for any failure, malfunction, difficulty or interruption in the operation of the website that prevents access to the website or any of its functionalities.
Article 6 - What personal data we collect, and why
QX-Innovations collects and processes personal data for various purposes, depending on how you come into contact with us. Below is an overview per situation.
6.1 Website, contact and marketing
If you visit our website, fill in a contact form, or sign up for our newsletter, we process your name, e-mail address, and data about your website visit (such as IP address and cookie data) to answer your question and, if you wish, to keep you informed of our news and offers. Legal basis: your consent (newsletter) and our legitimate interest in handling contact requests.
6.2 Sales, customer relations and lead management
If you are a (prospective) business customer, for example a hospitality, retail, camping or franchise business, we process the contact details of your employees or contact persons: name, job title, company name, e-mail address, phone number, and our correspondence, including data we obtain via LinkedIn when following up on leads. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in establishing and maintaining customer relationships.
6.3 Kiosk, till and self-ordering systems
QX-Innovations supplies kiosk, till and self-ordering systems (including QX Kassa/mijnkassasysteem.nl, mijnbestelsite.nl and mijnorderkiosk.nl) to hospitality, retail, camping and franchise businesses. When these systems are used by the end customers of our business customers, order and transaction data, payment data (processed via the payment provider) and, where applicable, a name or e-mail address for a digital receipt may be processed.
Important: in this situation, QX-Innovations is not the controller of your data; our business customer (the hospitality, retail, camping or franchise business where you order or pay) is. We process this data solely on behalf of, and in accordance with the instructions of, that customer. If you have questions about how your data is processed by a specific hospitality, retail or camping business, please refer to that business's own privacy statement.
6.4 Check-in kiosks
For campsites, holiday parks and hotels, we supply check-in kiosks that allow guests to check themselves in on arrival. This involves processing name, booking details (such as booking number, arrival and departure dates, and accommodation or pitch number), licence plate, and, where applicable, payment data for any outstanding balance.
Here too, QX-Innovations is not the controller; our business customer (the campsite, park or hotel where you check in) is. We process this data as a processor, on behalf of and in accordance with the instructions of that customer. At present, no automated licence plate recognition via camera (ANPR) or automatic barrier control takes place, and no identity document is scanned at check-in. We will update this privacy statement as soon as that changes.
6.5 Customer service and support
If you contact our customer service or support, we process your name, contact details, the content of your question or report, and, where relevant, technical log files, in order to handle your request. Legal basis: performance of the agreement with you or our customer, and our legitimate interest in providing good support.
6.6 Financial administration and invoicing
For our own business operations, we process name and address details, invoice details, and bank details of contact persons at our business customers and suppliers. Legal basis: performance of the agreement and our statutory obligation to keep tax records.
Article 7 - Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify or erase your personal data. You may also object to the processing of your personal data, request restriction of processing, and, where applicable, request data portability. If you have given consent for a particular processing activity, you may withdraw that consent at any time.
You can exercise these rights by contacting us at info@qx-innovations.nl. We will respond to your request within one month.
If you believe we are not handling your personal data correctly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, www.autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
Article 8 - Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes. To make our services possible, we do share data with a limited number of parties that provide services to us or on behalf of our customers:
With the parties that act as processors for us, we have entered into (or intend to enter into) a data processing agreement governing the handling of personal data.
Article 9 - Transfer of data outside the EU/EEA
All of our data is stored within the European Union, and at present exclusively in the Netherlands. We therefore do not currently transfer any personal data to parties outside the EU/EEA.
Should this change in the future, for example because we engage a new supplier that processes data outside the EU/EEA, we will ensure appropriate safeguards, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, and will update this privacy statement accordingly.

Article 14 - Applicable law and disputes
Dutch law applies to this privacy statement. Any disputes will be submitted exclusively to the competent court of the Rechtbank Oost-Brabant (location 's-Hertogenbosch), the district covering our registered place of business, Nuenen (Zuidoost-Brabant), unless a mandatory statutory provision requires a different court.
